Check if the Sleeping Dogs minimum specs are too high(I doubt it).

Are your latest drivers installed and do you have all the windows updates. If you do Check anyways! To check just type in the start orb search "Check for updates" Then click "Check for updates". On the LEFT hand side once again click "Check for updates" If their are any Download them .

It sounds like your graphics driver is crashing, this will be most likely because of

-  a bad driver install (uninstall and install the latest available from Nvidias website)
-  Your power supply not providing enough power, what power supply do you have?
-  Or an unstable GPU overclock if you overclocked it, in which case try lowering the clocks until it's stable

My GPU is not overclocked

My power supply is a 1000 Watt Cooler Master PSU

Sleeping Dogs says it needs for reccomended requirements a 560 nVIDIA card but I've been able to run games before that require you use a higher grade I don't believe I've been able to run any games that require a gpu above the 500 series
