Possibly Faulty Mobo?

So long story short my current Mobo (http://www.scan.co.uk/products/gigabyte-ga-z97x-gaming-3-intel-z97-s1150-ddr3-pcie-30-(x16)-2-way-sli-3-way-crossfirex-vga-dvi-hdmi) may be faulty. The reason i say this is because the Audio jacks in the rear IO have a nasty static sound when i plug in my headset but the front IO doesn't. Also my Ethernet cable stops being detected every 6 - 8 hours and i cant seem to reconnect it without restarting my PC.

If you have any knowledge of this problem and could help me solve it or let me know if its most likely a faulty Mobo that would be great.

P.S. I've updated all my drivers and even removed them all and reinstalled them at one point.

I don't think resetting the BIOS will help, and if you think it will, give him more to go on. Not just "remove component".

There are other things you need to do to clear the CMOS, and to actually have the mobo boot afterwards.

I have started getting similar issue with my current mobo, it is 2 years and ~4 months old now, I would say it is faulty.

Spoiler

Case Bitfenix Ghost, Mobo Asus Maximus VIII Ranger, CPU i7 6700K @4.2 Ghz cooled by Arctic cooling Freezer i30, (barely). GPU Nvidia GTX 970 Gigabyte G1 @1519Mhz core, RAM 16Gb Crucial Ballistix CL16 @2400Mhz. SSD 128GB Sandisk Ultra Plus as my OS drive. HDD's  1TB  Seagate ST31000524AS its OEM, 3TB Seagate Barracuda, 2x 500GB WDC Blue (RAID 0)

If it isn't working absolutely perfectly, according to all your assumptions, it is broken.
