Can I use my Hard drive on my new mobo?

yea you can move around hard drives just fine :)

So here's the deal, I'm upgrading my PC and I have the specs checked and everything is ready to be ordered, but, I was wondering if to save a bit of money, is it possible to wipe all of the data on my current HDD on my existing PC, to be used on my new PC build. I know that Windows can only be used on one motherboard as it is OEM, and I have another copy of Windows to be used on the hard drive when it has been wiped and can be used on the new build if it is possible.

-The HDD is a Seagate barracuda 1TB Hard drive and the current OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit (OEM).

Thanks in advance guys.
