Hyperthreading is not obsolete... its the only and best way to use all of the resources in one cpu core compromising from 2 things it can calculate, integer or float.

Now I wanted to address this, she's not "blazing hot" as she's not on fire nor is she a baby chicken... then again, I don't think I'd want to see a picture of a blazing hot chick... that would make me sad.

That's before I bumped the CPU Multiplier to 4.2GHz... I only started OC'ing recently due to more demanding games.

But seriously, Hyper-Threading does work... but only if programs are optimized for it. Lots of games don't take advantage of more than four cores.. but when they do? My temperatures are quite low overall and the loads are VERY balanced and nowhere near max. The boost on average though is quite low over a non-hyper threaded CPU so can't expect miracles there. Same can be said about AMD four core vs six or eight only improve a minor amount over four in games.

So... yeah, depends on the program. Most games these days run four cores optimally... maybe future games in DirectX 12 or Vulkan might change that... but who knows.

Just run CB and show them the difference with HT on and HT off. But if they're too stupid to understand numbers, then run the very old version of CB. What it does, it load a simple image, with out HT you will only see 4 lines (threads rendering) and with HT on, you'll see 8 lines rendering. So more lines (threads) the faster the picture loads.

Everyone BUT the one guy who brought it up is on my side after showing them synthetics such as Cinebench, and even stuff like rendering results. The guy who brought it up is a stubborn cunt, so he'll stay the same.
