This is an incredibly childish belief, but whatever.

If someone wants your data, they're probably going to get it. That shipped sailed a long time ago. That being said, I find the whole "privacy is dead" arguments a useful go-to for those who lack the intellectual heft to understand what are basic tenants of computer technology and even simpler legal concepts. No one wants to think about what terrible things could happen to them, so they blithely satiate themselves under a mask of ignorance and brush the issue aside. I myself live comfortable knowing that mass surveillance programs like PRISM will fail. They always fail.

Ok, they can have my data. They can watch me 24/7 but I know that I haven't done anything bad so they can kiss my ass

They can upload all my info everywhere because I don't care. I don't have anything to hide. What? if they will watch me they will predict everything that I'll do? I don't think so because there will be a computer involved. If I watch porn, post on this forum and listen to music and talk to my relatives, how will they know that I will bomb tomorrow the white hous. Or I won't.

This is what I wanted to say

People are too paranoid, if they were to spy on everyone they would be plagued with information overload and would be unable to do anything with it. Do you really think your forum comments or porn watching is important enough for anybody to care? You're simply not important enough to care about, get over yourself.

You think you don't have anything to hide. You think you haven't done anything bad.

Like I said before, none of this matters in the long run, because the program will, ultimately, fail, especially considering their publically stated goal of "counterterrorism", which itself is wholly unreliable and incorrigably inept.

To add to that-

What you think may not be wrong/right might not be what they think is wrong/right. ESPECIALLY if it's software judging you and not a real human, because how can basic 1s & 0s really know what's wrong or not? they don't care, you're guilty.

IMHO private companies are probably the bigger threat in the longrun. You can only imagine what insurance companies, banks or employers might do with that kind of knowledge.

to know the face of Dodge is to know madness

Take a look at what I’ve been watching…
