Power Cord Question

I've lost the power cord to my printer, but I have a power cord from one of my external hard drives that will plug into it with no problem. Question is; the printer power supply is listed at AC 100-240 V, 50/60 HZ and on the power cord I want to use it is listed as 125V-7A, can I use this cord with the printer? Here's what the cord looks like, by the way.

If it fits, just jam it in there and see if it works. That's how I've always used power cables

Yeah, if on the last cord there wasnt a transformer, if there was then you'd be shooting 120v into it. It's probably good then

The power brick is built into the bottom of the printer and the input is rated at 120V. The power cord is listed at 125V.

That means the cord can take 125V.

Well for more serious business stuff you might want to check the cable, cause some will start a fire if the cable isn't thick enough, but a printer (hopefully) doesn't consume that much energy and can probably be safely used
