GTX 680 classified getting hot.

Well. yesterday. my 680 fan stopped ramping up and now it's getting to high 80 degrees. Anyone have an idea why this is happening?

Ah, alright.

It's a shame because i don't think they make them anymore.

When I RMA'd my GTX 670 and they didn't make sell it anymore I could pay an extra €60 and get a GTX 780, worth trying ^^

Can you monitor the fan speed?  Does adjusting it in afterburner make a difference?  Is the fan still working at all?

 

It's probably not too hard to get a replacement fan.  Or even an aftermarket cooler.

Wait what? updating the drivers made the fans work again. must've been a driver glitch. that was wierd.
