My Mum has recently divorced from my Dad and needs all new things, one being a PC,

the price is very limited to around £100/150, it doesn't need to be anything special just fast enough to use the internet and other programs.

I possibly have a spare case, keyboard, screen and windows 7 key so they don't need to come into the price, I just need the key components.

It needs to be reliable but doesn't need to be fast as a high end build.

What are people's suggestions?

Try to keep it as little as possible please

Thanks

Scrap yard build would work best. Buying new parts in that budget is near impossible.

I'll look around on amazon for used parts but just need a general idea really

Don't look on Amazon for used parts. What country do you live in?

I'm in the UK

General idea in that price range would be something like E or Q series intel cpu, any cheap gpu.

This will probably work fine.

CPU: AMD A6-6400K 3.6GHz Dual-Core Processor (£30.36)

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-F2A68HM-HD2 Micro-ATX FM2+ Motherboard (£32.80)

RAM: Kingston 2GB (1 x 2GB) DDR3-1333 Memory (£12.31)

Storage: WD Blue 320GB (£31.75)

Case: Cooler Master Elite 350 ATX Mid-Tower Case w/ 500W PSU (£48.68)

Total: £156.40

The A6-6400K has a good graphics processor (For me anyway), so you won't need a GPU.

And if you can, upgrade the RAM.

And the PSU leaves you a huge clearance if you want to upgrade it in the future.

Has a Ph.D in Nothing and does not speak Chinese, Italian or French. (aber ich kann Deutsch sprechen)

Going to see if I can find these parts any cheaper in local store, thanks for the suggestion
