I'm looking to build my first pc (http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/gKQyrH) and intend to upgrade to a better GPU such as a 970 or 980, add an ssd and a new case like the 350D, and possibly a CPU+mobo upgrade. Would I be better off with the 4350, or should I get a 6300 instead?

Also, would I be able to over clock on this mobo, because if I could I would probably get the 6300 and over clock?

Thanks

What's the system being used for?

Is the optical drive really necessary?

Welcome to the Forum.

1) What are you wanting to do with this build?

2) What's your location (I'm assuming you're in the UK)?

3) What's your budget?

Sig under construction.

Pretty sure a 970'or 980 would be a huge bottleneck to that cpu

I'm a teen and this is gonna be a gaming build as well as possibly some video editing. My budget is around £500/£550 for the lot- tower, monitor keyboard etc.

I'd prefer to get a slightly lesser GPU and a better cpu+mobo that will last longer, and I need a quad core for far cry 4

Also, later down the road, you may want to get a cooler. I'd suggest something like this: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/zalman-cpu-cooler-cnps5xperforma

Its cheap and does the job.

I would be buying this to upgrade the GPU and add an ssd so would an 860k be a bottleneck to something like a 970/980?

Yes it would... And the AM3+ CPUs would as well...

One more thing, when will you get a GPU?

You won't be doing much CPU upgrading with a board with no or little VRM cooling

Is this a bit too expensive?
