I knew Blender could do image post-processing, but not this well.  :D

And yes, I'm back at doing stuff at Blender. At least for today...

I personally don't like the post-processing. You could export the image to Photoshop and apply a warmer photo filler filter and get the same result quicker :D

First image looks cool though!  B)

Yeah, I was trying to achieve more of a "vintage photo" style.

those small details, dust, scratches damn!even dust on the freaking lens, its that blender has such a hard curve to get in for modeling because of the controls.

blender 2.74: now with 80% more instagram filters

I just realized I'm still using 2.72.

I wish I could learn Blender, is Lynda.com a good way?

24 fps for that "cinematic" feel


After a couple weeks of behavioral sciences at my school I can easily conclude my parents need to grow up.

I think the user experience and learning curve has significantly improved quite a bit over the last few major updates. But yeah it still can be a bit daunting due to the controls.

Blender Cookie is an extremely good resource. Theres lots of good free tutorials and many paid ones.

I've never used Lynda so I cannot comment on it but I'am sure whichever route you go you will still learn quite a bit.

No, not really, I would suggest that you go on Andrew Prices YT Channel and check out some of his tutorials, I would suggest the water simulation one first.
