I would go and get an I5 and mobo to replace the FX8350.

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Why you shouldn't trust Gpu or Cpu boss Click on this I dare you!

His CPU is fine. Stop fanboying. To be honest your build looks very decent to me, I would think about better sound system. And what RAM are you using?

He is asking for an upgrade so we are telling him what a good upgrade to do would be.

If you must upgrade that monitor you mentioned LG 29um67-p would be a lot of fun and a very interesting project. Has freesync too... Or you could get some nice speakers.

I wouldn't waste money on anything else in your build at this time as it's extremely diminishing returns.

There isn't a single I5 worth money if you have 8350.

Games really do benifit from the much higher IPC of an I5.

Wow. You should get that fixed. Drop those 2x2 and get another 4 for proper channeling.

Ultra wides are matter of taste. I tried and i prefer 2 monitors.

I am sorry for my english.

what would the improvement be ? i mean dual channeling doesn't give you loads of benefits only a small boost right?

I don't think that an I5 is worth the money because: https://cpubenchmark.net/cpu_lookup.php?cpu=Intel+Core+i5-4590+%40+3.30GHz&id=2234look for the FX 8350 and all the other I5's, You'll see :)

They're the same in gaming performance+ these benchmarks tell that an I5 can't et even close to the FX 8350 with multitasking ect, and that's what he want to do right? Or am I wrong?

i game alot but the multitasking that i do i mostly chrome+game+skype+other program from extracting to virus scanning to defragmenting

Synthetic benchmarks are not representative of real world in game performance. That's why people like LTT do benchmarks with games, as well as the synthetic benchmarks. Remember that most games aren't built to use more than two cores, so having 8 cores does nothing for gaming, especially when those cores have a lower IPC.

It's also worth taking into consideration that intel offers a better upgrade path, as well as newer technologies on their motherboards like SATA-E, M.2, NVME, etc.

Not saying the 8350 is bad, not by any means. Especially because I've never used one, just saying that intel seems to offer a better bang for your buck value.

All at the same time? how? or better yet....why? Why would you be virus scanning and or defragging while gaming?

Chrome and skype I get. I do those with my I5 and it works just fine. Other than a lot of games not being that great at alt+tabbing

As he said He does a lot of multitasking sooo I think the FX 8350 is better. What you were saying was also correct and it's also very nice to have but Does he really need that? An FX 8350 should do fine for a long time :)

Indeed, it is better for multi-tasking. But I would still be worried about the next gen of games (next gen for PC, not what console calls a gen lol)

Things like Star Citizen etc. Unless they end up optimizing for more than 2 cores.

To an I5? Not sure.

I know I had an A-10 5700 APU and I was blown away by the upgrade to my I5, but that would have probably been the same as upgrading to an 8350 lol
