My first X99 build (5960x + 2x R9 295x2 + Ax1500i + 64gb RAM + Rampage V Extreme )

ALELOCOOOO

You know, you could probably get a 120mm fan grill/shroud and overlay it on that 120mm rad on top so it doesn't look like it'll fall off from that ghetto mounting.

Can you post a picture of what are you talking about? It would help. And btw, it won't fall off, the cooler of the other 295x2 is right below : P. But yea, it would help.

  • 3 months later...

I have a very similar build - 2x 295x2 in Quadfire, a Xeon E5 2683v3, 16GB DDR4, and an X99 Asrock board. I'm on Windows 10 and whenever I start up a game, the PC completely freezes - this is even on the latest AMD Drivers. However, I used another SSD which has Windows 8, and 3dMark runs fine, but it seems to be only utilizing one card, even with Crossfire enabled and ULPS disabled. How did you get it to work with all four cards at full load?

Also, I can max out both the cards in Aida64 but not in games. Btw, I have the Lepa 1600 Watt with separate rails going to the cards.
