My $1000 Gaming Rig

Fricey
Go to solution Solved by DarkBlade2117,

Swap to a i5-4690k and get a better GPU. Games now a days aren't s CPU intensive as GPUS. Something like this, http://pcpartpicker.com/p/hy2Mxrwhich will run perfectly any game 1080p max settings. Plus 2133mhz won't benefit you much. 1866mhz Max otherwise your are paying to much.

Hello this is going to be my first gaming rig so I was wondering if I could get some help. Here are the specs.

People and there darn SSDs. An SSD is so easy to add into a pc later on. Two cables and simply, putting it in the case. That's a cheap PSU also. NEVER EVER cheap out on a PSU. The PSU goes out it can bring the whole entire rig with it.

lol an ssd is something anyone should and can have considering their price/gb, it really makes a difference, theres no arguing that, PERIOD

and the CX600M is a perfectly average psu, just as good as any other.

This is a great build, but it still needs a couple of 140mm intake fans and it would also make sense to spend the extra $20-$30 or so on the Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970.

The best 970s are probably

1. Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970

2. MSI Gaming GTX 970

3. EVGA SSC GTX 970

It only comes with the exhaust fans near the CPU, one 120mm in back and one 140mm on top. It doesn't come with any intake fans.

For the 970 MSI or Gigabyte Other then that Id get a be quiet! Pure Rock! Instead of the hyper 212 Evo. It will be a nice build and in a month you can add a 240gb SSD since its really easy to add.
