wtf when did an app come out?

some long time ago. android is horrible apparently.

I don't care bout the ads. I barely get any. and. well I didn't pay a penny for my first year. so yeah

Unacceptable. It completely negates the idea of Vessel.

the idea of vessel is to give content creators better revenue and an alternate backup platform other than youtube

 

Did you think it was a "ads free youtube service" that you pay a few bucks a month for? lol

I don't know, personally I don't mind the pre roles but the in site adds are kinda annoying. I feel like when the trial runs out I don't think there are going to be many paying members there's really just not much value in it.

Meh... 

 

Its less than 5 seconds, if it was 10 or more I would be more disappointed. 

 

And Im still waiting for Netflix to do this.

I must have misunderstood what they were trying to do. I was assuming they wanted to offer the best deal to both the content creators and the users. I'm not going to pay for a service that then run ads to earn more money on my time, I would much rather pay the extra dollar a month to not have to sit through that garbage (3 seconds or not). Luckily I have no cash invested in Vessel (like most people here I believe).

They make enough to not have to run ads, which is amazing to me.

I just think if Netflix keeps pushing more "original content" that funding will be in short supply - I would like to guess (but I have no idea or evidence) that a primary reason they are profitable is from the sale of stock which will only get them so far.

Took me 30 min to to finally figure out Vessel refused to play my video because Adblock would not play their stupid add.  

I could live with a paid service with zero adds but this REALLY pisses me off.
