WHICH AIO LIQUID COOLER!?!? Please help me decide!

Hey guys, I need to decide on a AIO liquid cooler! Here is the list I'm looking at.

  1. Swiftech H240-X 21000yen
  2. Corsair h110i GT 19000 yen
  3. NZXT Kraken X61 15000 yen

I have seen all the reviews and found that the Swiftech has the best specs in terms of cooling. But at a slightly higher price than the rest. The Corsair model is a lil bit cheaper here in Japan and the Kraken is considerably cheaper than the two.

Now, personally I don't mind the pricing of these units. I just want the best performing cooler for my new build here - http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/363441-highend-gamingwork-rig/

I was originally thinking of getting the Nepton 280L, but hearing the jetfan noise reviews about it... ehh I'd want something a lil quieter.

The Switfttech H240X requires maintenance, which is a slight downside for me. How hard/easy is it to maintain the H240X? I really like the aesthetics though and would work perfectly with my build.

So please comment and poll on your favored choice!

Swift tech, but if you don't wanna do maintenance get the h100i gtx... I actually had an h100i and just got my Noctua d15 in and the Noctua cools better than my h100i at a third of the noise.

Watching LTT vids with all dem Noctua fans... I am convinced by this idea.

I myself am very happy with the Kraken, it does it job very well and leads most benchmarks.

This said, the problem is that the Swiftech isn't present in most benchmarks, but it is generally considered to have an even better performance.

It's entirely up to you to get whatever. For me the Noctua is better.. I was able to get my cpu to 5.2ghz and it never went over 68c or so on the single core cinebench. Probably not even remotely stable at the volts I was at. I turned it down, but I was impressed. Should have gotten Noctua to begin with.

Swiftech H240X.

I own this and just recently switched to a custom loop. The maintenance is minimal, once a year you run hot water and viniger through your parts, boom done. Takes an hour. I believe it still has the best performance of any AIO, but the benefit of the H240X is that it upgradable. You said

"I just want the best performing cooler for my new build..."

Well this is it, and it can get even better because you can add another rad to your loop if you want. You can use this as a stepping stone to eventually making your own custom loop.

If I were you I would get the H240X, drop that 980 from Inno3D and get the Hydro Copper version from EVGA.

It costs less than the one from Inno3D and will perform better with lower temps and should easily get you a higher overclock and "better performance".

If that is a little too much work, I would at least look at somthing like this.

https://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=04G-P4-1989-KR

or

http://www.inno3d.com/products_detail.php?refid=187

After all, it's your graphics card that affects performance the most. Having a cool and fast CPU is great but where you want to put the largest amount of your resources is the GPU. For gaming that is.

In the end you will be happy no matter what so have fun.
