I ordered it from Amazon last week for $35 plus tax. It's a pretty good mouse. I tried contacting Amazon to see if they could match the price but they couldn't. So much for Amazon's excellent service. Not to mention that it took them exactly a week (monday to monday) to prepare the shipment and get it to me when I live 10 miles away from their warehouse that they shipped it from.

They don't have to price match.

They have great customer service, go ahead and test your luck with eBay/Paypal.

Just because you live 10 miles away doesn't mean anything. They only control how long it takes them to prepare your order, the shipping company does the rest, and they only have to fulfill a certain time frame.

They spent 4 days preparing and shipped it out on Saturday. I received it on Monday. I'm just sour that if I had waited, I could had gotten a better deal and received it much quicker from Newegg.

:P Well it was only $5 bucks more. Besides NewEgg would have taken even longer.

Nah, they are pretty bad.  In my experience, they will always prepare your shipment at the latest possible moment.  Why?  because they want you to pay extra for some kind of express shipping, or buy amazon prime for the 2 day shipping.  I'm pretty sure it doesn't just magically happen so that the order gets shipped at the last possible moment every single time.

Newegg on the other hand usually has the order processed and shipped in the next 1-3 days.  Then you just wait for the shipment to arrive.  It has always been faster for me to buy things from newegg.  I waited almost a week for my headset to get shipped from amazon, said screw it, cancelled and had newegg do it and received my headset in like 3 days with the free shipping option.

I just picked one up yesterday and its coming in two days. It's my first gaming mouse and I'm really excited.

Also, this Amazon vs. Newegg thing?

I've ordered every part from Newegg with 4-7 day shipping for free. They normally arrive within four days. I haven't had a problem with Newegg.

It needs to be within 7 days from your purchase date to qualify for the refund.

Lol I guess they can take their time to ship it so that you can't refund it then.

The difference refund applies whether it's still shipping or has arrived as long as you contact their support within 7 days of your purchase. I just got one since a greater sale happened 3 days after I bought something. It was already shipped and is still on its way. Just keep track of deals/newsletters and contact them ASAP.
