Can you guys tell me what's the best and easy to use CAD software to make 3D modelling, I would like to play around with it. When I get used to use the software I want to make a project relevant to pc build in to desk.

I seen lots custom build pc's to desk and I love to have one. So, if you know any please let me know, thanks.

Ok there are many good 3d modeling software some are cheap and others are really good but expensive even with student discounts

One good one that is free is google sketch up, I used this in the past.  The ones I currently use are Autodesk Inventor and Solidworks both for my engineering courses.

What I would say is just use google sketch up, its free for everyone and there online videos that can help you use it.

I use Blender quite frequently. Its a very powerful tool, it takes a bit of getting used to but once you get passed that its amazing. And also you can't beat free. There have been many amazing projects made with it and it was even used for the CGI in Spider-Man 2.

At college we have Blender but its free and I have no clue how to use it probably because I couldn't find any good tutorials. I checked on google and if you are student you can have free licence to Autodesk 3DS MAX 2016 and few other software from Autodesk. I got mine today and its for 3 years, including Maya 2016.

Depends on style really, personally I use Blender (I learned using this, makes me want to keep using it), Maya and ZBrush.

For Architectural - 3DS Max gets used a fair bit but Inventor owns this AFAIK.

For 3D characters - ZBrush wins this one for me. It's insanely good at what it does and I personally don't like the mudbox workflow.

For Animation - I use Maya for animation but anything works I guess

For Rigging - Maya has a tonne of tools for this that make it easier and, as someone who hates this rigging and skinning, that is awesome.

For Texture Painting - If you have a model needing texture painted, Blender wins IMO. It's what I use it for, fixing textures from models in Maya or 3DS.

For a Jack of All Trades - Blender, it does EVERYTHING... Sculpting, Texture painting, etc. Sadly its a bit annoying to learn (keyboard shortcuts everywhere).

It really depends on what you are doing really; Almost any software will work, it's just a matter of how fast and easy it is.

But instead of white I will use white carbon and I not sure how to layout the hardware, can yo suggest something? Thanks.
