So its on sale for half off right now and my friend wants me to get it.. Does anyone here play it and is it a good game?

Why high refreshrate monitors look better even without Freesync/G-sync in one image.

I really enjoy that game, it has a very very steep learning curb in online gameplay, and is a slow tactical game in most cases, but I find it extremely fun. Not to mention my 4790k oc to 4.6ghz chops through it like a bosssssss

Only if you have a good CPU and patients for the extreme learning curve. This game is very hard and you must have a lot of patients. Especially in large realistic online scenarios. It's not battlefield, it's a sim.

I play it a lot. More than it is recommended by my doctor.

If you don't have modern Intel CPU you won't have pleasant gameplay experience on populated servers.

In coop with friend most CPUs will do OK... Unless you will play missions with a lot of scripts. That will kill your FPS instantly.

Also have in mind that this is simulator. If you will play this like a BF then you will die a lot.
