A keyboard I like is the Razer Blackwidow Tournament edition, with it Cherry MX Blue type ish switches, Bit loud, I prefer it, Comes in at about £70, or chroma for £125.

Mouse for me was the Razer Deathadder, An awesome mouse, even though i use a Naga LOL.

I'd probably have to say palm grip.  Mechanical.  Not too expensive, but I'm willing to spend some money for quality.  I like the price of the Razer's Deathadder, and I'm willing to spend what the Blackwidow and Corsair's K70 are priced at.

If anyone recommends a Razer mouse, gtfo.

Zowie mice are amazing, especially if you're playing FPS games. Build quality is great, and it is very basic (in a goody way)

The Corsair K70 has stunninng build quality, good layout, and overall a great keyboard. Do not get the RGB one though, complete waste of money. It get's verrrry boring after a few weeks.

Mouse and keyboard are pretty well personal preference. Most of them from major brands will last you at least a few years if you take care of them.

Some of the better mice I've used:

If you're right handed, use palm/ fingertip grip, and have medium to large hands:

I'd say get the Deathadder chroma, logitech g400s, or the logitech G502 if you want the extra buttons.

If you have smaller hands go with the Zowie fk1 or 2

If you're a lefty go with the steelseries sensei

If you want an rpg mouse, I liked the Razer naga.

Keyboards:

If you want macros I'll have to say either the Logitech G710+ or the Blackwidow (They're both okay boards for the money. I really don't recommend them though, unless you absolutely need the macros, because there are better keyboards out there for the price.) (I've used both of these)

Standard 104 key:

Ducky Zero or Shine (Some of the best keyboards I've used)

Das Model S (never used a Das but I have a friend who swears by them)

CM storm quickfire (Cheap solid board with cherry switches)

Corsair k70 (not my top pick but you can get them anywhere and they're nice for the money.)

Tenkeyless:

Ducky Zero or shine tenkeyless

Filco Majestouch

Das 4C

CM Storm Quickfire tenkeyless

60-75%

Ducky mini

Vortex Poker

Noppoo Choc mini (usually you only find these in mx blacks)

Then It's deciding which switch you like, if you don't already know, which is probably more important than the brand or design of your keyboard.

Oh and nice to see another Ohioan here. lol
