FHD or 4K

can i see pixels on a 55 inch 1080p tv or do i need to go for a 4k tv?

You can see pixels on anything. How far away are you going to be from it?

of course you can. but that doesnt mean you 'need' 4k.

it depends on how far you sit from your tv and how much seeing pixels bothers you.

 

i've got a 720p 30" tv and that works fine for me.

55" looks hideous at 1080p unless you are very far away. In a normal sized room I would absolutely go 4K at this size.

yes you can see pixels, they make the image but seriously, you probably will.
