255 C degrees

Where are you getting this reading from? If it's from some software I wouldn't worry and I'd just use another program, but if it's from the BIOS than I'm really not sure.

I suspect you're checking the temperature using the wrong tool. If that was the real temp, your PC would've shut down a long time ago.

My CPU temp is 255 its not possible and i know it how i can fix it guys plz help me

 

 

Check if you have enough thermal paste and that your CPU cooler is attached properly. I had this problem a couple years ago and I hadn't attached the CPU cooler accordingly.

First make sure the cooler is oin right.. Then make sure it's not telling you in F instead of c.

I assume it an error code because it's 2^8-1 = 0xFF. Typical errorcode for a 8 bit sensor....

Guys I use Core Temp 1.0

and the same witH HWMonitor PRO 1.22

Try Speedfan I have never had a problem with that.

Try a different program like Speedfan.

Or try the difficult process of fixing whatever is wrong with your program xD

When the sensor gives the wrong values you can't fix it with software. Try to umplug you PSU for >30 seconds to test the MoBo (simple reboot won't help).

They are trying to help you by telling you to go and have a look in the BIOS.
