Try looking at the settings of your sound player, see if there's any specific options there.

What OS and Music player @Fluffinator?

Basic guide to CPU's!

If I said I were 14, you would call me a kid. If I say 70, you’ll entitle me too old. If I say 20 you say I’m inexperienced and if I say 40 than I'm too boring.

If they are both plugged to the same device you have to go into the device's configuration software and set the them as different outputs. If that is not possible, then you need you two different devices. When you have two different output options, go into each software's settings and select which output you want to use.

They don't have software.

I've done this with Skype/teamspeak and the rest of my sound (LoL, chrome,...). You have to change your settings under sound and your settings in the application itself (the easiest would be to change your music player's output tbh).

If you won't listen to them at the same time, just change your default audio output under the "sound" option in windows.
