format and install the new iso

and if your this non-techie..don't go installing a beta/alpha os as your main os...its only for people who know what they are doing

You can't expect actual help on an un released product.

backup your important files and do a reinstall/upgrade from dvd/usb (the upgrade may work but a fresh install is recommended)

 

this is a risk you have when using unfinished software, i've had many issues myself (still have actually...)

Have you selected the option to receive updated builds faster? There is a setting for that which will download and install a new build automatically once it's available.
