What's the resolution. If its really high that's is what allows your GPU to ee proper utilization.

my point still stands my FX chip will not bottleneck my 290x gpu

and i got millions of games to prove that on

there is a difference between performance and a bottleneck

Play Assassin's Creed Black Flag and Battlefield 4, those games will demonstrate your GPU getting bottlecked. And if you'd been keeping up with the posts properly you'd know that.

Lol, almost 200W power usage. That's a lot for any CPU. I know that my 970 is a different GPU, but could you post the BF4 settings so I can directly compare between my X5450 and i5 4440?

heres blackflag version 1.0 too lazy to find a update due to my save file i forgot to backup again FML 5th freakin time

running arround on beginning, failing and falling to catch that prick at start of game

backed off the overclock to all default settings so thermal throttle didnt kick in

shouldnt of went for the cheapy visiontek with the krap heatsink lol

excuse the scribbles dont need anyone sending me surprises on irc

graphix settings were balls to the walls max

The dip at the end where it a flat 70% or so is when I'm alt tab out for like 10 minutes...

 

The thing I'm trying to say is, it stays in the 90-100% most the time. I'm not going to complain. YES, I KNOW!, that playing at a larger res makes it more GPU bound, I HAVE SAID THAT. I also said the a single 1080 in sli it bottlenecks like crazy. Doesn't really matter sence i play 5760x1080.  BF plays a solid 60-70fps. Black flag play a solid 50-60fps. GTA V plays a solid 50-70 depending on whats going on. I can't complain. I bought AMD knowing it wasn't the best. I don't care. I'm an AMD boy when it comes to my cpu. not jumping ship yet. I have said the Intel would be faster, not worth me trading up, my shit plays fine. There's so many Intel fanboy I gotta rep for AMD. That is all/

Also, some BF maps are better than others. The screen shot is two full maps played showing, there's prly an hour of game time in those logs there. I could go play some maps that show the gpu's staying in the 95-100% the whole time, but I didn't really care. is what it is.
