Installing Cyanogen mod 12 on Galaxy S4

Ok, I have been trying for hours to get Cyanogen mod 12 on my GS4.  It is rooted, I have super user.  I am new to this but i seem to be getting stuck on installing a recovery thing.  I have a GS4 Verizon (I think its the jfltevzw), and I have tried rom instller, twrp manager, cwm recovery, but every time i flash a recovery, whether it says successful or not, I either get stuck in download or Odin mode and have to reflash a kernal using the PAL part of Odin, or it will say you have installed a non verizon software (something like that) and i have to reflash a kernal using the PAL part of Odin.

What Do I DO???????!!!!!!!????????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!k

The links aren't working so i don't know what do download

if your phone is rooted and you have clockwork already running, all you should really have to do is put the cyanogenmod onto your sd card, boot to recovery and install it from there. im sure there is a more proper way of doing it. but thats all i had to do.

I know that, but it's the recovery i am having iissues with, nothing is working.  Every time i install a recovery, whether it says successful or not, and i boot into recovery, it just goes into odin mode

ok and how did you flash/install twrp..?

Odin Install Method (No Root Required):
You will need to download and install Odin on your PC. Once you have Odin installed, download the proper .tar file for your device from the download link above. Power off your device. Turn on your device using the proper key combo to get into download mode and attach the device to your computer via a USB cable. Use the PDA tab or button to browse to and select the tar file that you downloaded and flash the device.

Note many devices will replace your custom recovery automatically during first boot. To prevent this, use Google to find the proper key combo to enter recovery. After typing fastboot reboot, hold the key combo and boot to TWRP. Once TWRP is booted, TWRP will patch the stock ROM to prevent the stock ROM from replacing TWRP. If you don't follow this step, you will have to repeat the install.

dd Install Method (Requires Root):
Download the latest image file (.img) from the download link above. Place it in the root of your /sdcard folder and rename it to twrp.img. Run the following commands via adb shell or a terminal emulator app:

su

dd if=/sdcard/twrp.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p21
