Well, with an i7, GTX 1080, Full tower and flashy lights, it can obviously only be for one thing:

Solitaire.

You're probably not going to get free graphics unless you're popular or know the person. Good design takes skill, effort and time.

Intel i7 4790k / MSI Z97M / Hyper 212 Evo / MSI Twin Frozr GTX 770 / 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz / Fractal Design Arc Mini R2 / Corsair CS750M / Samsung 840 Evo 250gb SSD /  WD Blue 1TB

Meh, the ones I make are not that time consuming and I'm able to fill my portfolio with them.

I'm also not looking for the exposure personally and I can make a speedart video from it too :P

Quality, not quantity. I prefer to show my portfolio with only 3 good models than just shoving a bunch of average stuff in there :)

Of course, doing stuff like this is good for practice :)

@OP you will probably get someone to do it for free, but if you start making money on this, the least you could do it credit the author, as well as pay him in retrospect.

Still its nice to be able to have something great to show, not something average :P I keep on changing things in my folio, just because they seem bad compared to stuff i see from other people. And thats how you progress. Not by just adding stuff :)

Well you want to see progress in your portfolio too.

If you keep deleting the old (and arguably worse) designs and only have your new (possibly better) designs, they will think you have not changed over the years.

Depends on how you advertise yourself. And to whom. As a freelancer, people just want to see what youre capable of. If youre applying for a studio, they mainly want to see you being able to finish a thing, so they will want to see an entire project documented, with progress shots and everything. But rarely will anyone want to see how you changed during the years, apart from tumblr people looking for inspiration, and then continuing their procrastination
