Antec EarthWatts Green 380W Reviews/Tips?

Hi,

I'm currently looking to buy a PSU and I know I need around 260w, although the price range I'm looking at, the best rated one is the Antec EarthWatts Green. PSU's are a serious deal, therefore I don't really want to skimp on performance, I may be OC'ing as well so having a bit more juice should be fine. Does anyone have any recommendations for me? Tips? Anybody got/had Antec EarthWatts Green and want to give me some info?

Thanks for all of your help,

Chris

;)

P.S I have a list created on PCPartPicker so here's the permalink if you want to view the setup I'm looking at buying: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/C2sBdC

I was going to put this-but I DONT NEED any advice on my build.

Thanks.

Link isn't working but just to be safe and future proof I would get a 450w psu atleast.

Since the differnce is usually about 10 bucks.

I don't know the purpose of your build but if it's gaming I would get a i5 and a way better gpu and atleast a 450w psu.

Also 4gb of ram isn't really going to cut it these days.

I have the Earth-watts 520W and it is great. I'd recommend the brand, but at least the 420W.

Its for rendering. If it was for gaming trust me-I would have followed your advice.  ;)

As for the ram, yeah I know, I *am* going to upgrade it later, but at the moment, I am spending *the* most possible. I plan to have 32gb eventually. :D

I don't want to be inefficient, I only need 251, do you really think I need a 450w psu?

so why do you blow 45 useless pounds on that gt730?

Use integrated instead and get 8gb right of the start.

Also get the 212evo instead of the 103 and skip the thermal paste because iirc the 212 comes with some. That'd basically be +/- nothing and would give you better thermals.

Edit:

oh and i would personally go for an corsair psu instead. this is one not only modular but also has more wattage and is cheaper.
