Decided to make this my final build. does it need any upgrades i plan on using this for gaming and well decided to add some color to the parts too:p idk if i should wait for the new GPU to come out before i buy the 980 but even tho i believe its okay the way it is right?

Any better options you guys would recommend or this is pretty much a great solid build.

Looks good to me, did you know that the GPU has a reference-style cooler?

No i didn't ah im planning on getting this rig like by next week but by the time the parts come in give it another week?

Anyways anything that would be best if i would change or it looks perfectly fine for gaming?

Windforce? The one picked in the parts list is an EVGA superclocked with a blower style cooler.

oh lol.

i was looking at @RJSX1 build because i thought he linked OPs to the thread because we couldnt open it. thanks for posting a random rig dude...

So yeah: don't but a blower style cooler unless your case is tiny.

Well, there is this one on PC Part Picker: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-04gp42983kr

It will run cooler, more quiet and overall looks better. Plus, it is even a bit cheaper :)

New to Star Citizen? Look no further!

You want matching Ram. You have 2 different speeds going on there.

You can get the MSI GTX 980 Gaming or Gigabyte Windforce GTX 980 for less. They will both run quieter than the EVGA.

Get a better power supply. The NEX isn't that good. For $20 extra you can get the 750W G2 version.

This is a better build, although you could still save by getting a cheaper board and cooler.
