Would mixing these modules together be problematic?

Hello! I am trying to upgrade my memory on my PC, and I have a question:

Would I be able to mix these two x2 8GB modules: http://www.amazon.com/PNY-1600Mhz-Desktop-Memory-Module-MD16384KD3-1600-X9/dp/B00D1IUEHW/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1429246271&sr=1-4&keywords=16+gb+ram with my current x2 4GB modules: http://www.amazon.com/G-SKILL-Ripjaws-1600MHz-PC3-12800-F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM/dp/B004KY719A/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1429245970&sr=1-1&keywords=F3-12800CL8-8GBXM for a total of 24 GB?

Would that be problematic?

Thanks in advance.

They're not cards. They're RAM sticks or modules.

speeds would need to all be the same and i think the latency would need to be the same as well if im correct.

Will fix, but that reply was not helpful nor necessary...

It was a small correction, but I didn't mean anything by my response.

When you install different sticks of RAM it automatically changes the speeds to the slowest clock speed and highest latency to match all the sticks.

People like linus and NCIX crew often talk about RAM compatibility and validation but i've never had an issue with ram and a motherboard, even when mixing. Actually I've never had an issue with laptop ram either. I feel like it's either one of those rare occurrences or something that used to happen before but is not that huge of an issue now, but sticks around in people's minds.

how isnt that helpful? you come to a tech forum to learn things and you learned how to properly address said hardware he was polite about it as well.
