$5 for help Setting up FTP on windows server 2012 R2

Hey guys im having allot of trouble setting up FTP on Windows server 2012 R2.

 

I am doing it thu IIS and i've been following a video guide and i think im doing everything correct.(and yes i do have port forwarding set up)

If you can set it up let me know and i will let you remote into my server if it work i have $5 to spare Thanks

I followed that tutorial step by step thats the one ive been using. and then i tried FileZilla Server that didn't work either kinda funny that you recommended both of the things i tried.

 

Have you done it before? would you be willing to remote and help me?

if its not working..then its your port forwarding in your router..not the pc

cause thats where people often have problems

do you know how to port forward a router properly?

what router/modem do you have?

Agreed, runs great on windows, both the server and the client. :)

I know but windows server wont let it go externally i added it to the firewall and then even disabled it.

I definitely know how to portforward ive been doing it a long time its properly forwarded to port 21

The modem is what ever bright house gave me not sure about its model the linksys is a  E3000

alot of isp modems are routers as well..so they have a firewall on them as well

check the label on this modem

 

did you put ddwrt on that linksys router?

I cant get the modem model because its offsite. but i know its not one of those multi modem/routers (i hate those things so much) 

No it doesn't have DD-WRT
