3gb GPU Around £200

Hi guys my GTX 760 has served me well until i have got GTA 5 the graphics is not much of a problem but the 2gb VRAm is not enough cant run GTA smoothly at high textures with MSAA

I would preferably like a Nvidia card because i use Shadowplay and i wont use any  other software to record because they are too demanding

You're out of luck unless you find a 780 on ebay or something. Save up some more get a 970, I think its goes for 250 on Amazon.

I managed to get my R9 280X DCII Top for £215, if I remember the Gigabyte R9 280X is about £180-190

 

But nVidia you're kind of out of luck.

i have never played gta on ps4 but if you have can you confirm if normal textures look better than ps4 GTA then it would make me a little bit happier

I've got a feeling that on 1080p GTA V might go over 3.5 if you enable absolutely all bells and whistles.

he was testing with a 980, a 960 is literally half a 980.

now going from 1080p ultra and 3200MB of vram used might only drop to 2GB of Vram used on medium

A 970 can't hit good frame rates at 8x MSAA thus that test means literally nothing for a 970

who mentioned 970? it takes around 3gb of vram with no AA so theres the ops problem and why he wants a 3gb card.

Save some money and get either a gtx 970 or r9 290. Both of which can be found for around 250£ with the 290 being normally found for much cheaper.
