Molex to 3 pin voltage

Yes. And btw you can switch the two leads on the molex around to turn it into 7V if needed...

Okay great, thanks!

I'm about to purchase a molex to 3 pin adapter for my front case intake fan (Phanteks PH-F200SP) but I'm not sure if i should get a 5V, 7V or 12V adapter? I don't like the idea of it running at full speed for noise reasons, but don't want to sacrifice airflow. Would a 7V adapter provide sufficient RMP and low noise? Or have i missed the point completely with the different adapter voltages...

"Rate Voltage: DC 12V"?

It only runs @850rmp on 12V so it shouldn't be audible and might not even spin with less.

Some fans need at least 6v to start fully! I would go with a 7v adapter 5v maybe to low unless you know the starting voltage, so yes go for a 7v and you will still get enough speed to have good airflow and pressure but the noise will be almost halfed at 7v
