Probably another cheap Chinese mechanical switch.

I've never heard of them.

They are not from Cherry (Known for their switches of course), but a knock off brand.

This user on Reddit said this about them:

On the partially subjective continuum of Cherry MX clones, my impression is that Outemu is good not great (the clear housings are nice but not part of this drop). My switches were a little heavy.

Off-topic: Massdrop.. Still 33.50 euros shipping to the Netherlands? Please....

Cherry's hold on that design of switch seems to have expired meaning we are about to get flooded with the clones as more Chinese companies start getting into the illuminated, mechanical keyboard craze.  A lot of major manufacturers are now holding up their new production lines while they try to figure out if going with the more expensive, original Cherry brand will make them profit (think Razer and the Kailh switches) or if it would be better to chase everyone else down the "lower price" path.  Price wars!!!  :D

It's a switch, not a CPU or GPU, based on a rather popular design.  How much different will they be then the originals?  The devil is in the details, so they like to say.  There is no reason in fact that a Chinese clone switch couldn't even be better than the original.

If that Massdrop keyboard came in black w/black keys I'd be all over it.

System: i5 6600K@3.6 GHz, Gigabyte Z170XP SLI, 2x8 Corsair DDR 3000, Corsair Hydro H60i cooler, Rosewill CAPSTONE 750w Gold PSU, 1x 512GB SSD, 1x 2TB 7200RPM, Windows 10 Pro x64
Display: XFX R9 390 DD, triple 1920x1200 24" HP monitors (5760x1200 @ 60Hz)   Sound: Audio-gd NFB-11 -> AKG K7XX or 2.1 speaker system
