ok guys thanks. i will probably go with the i3 4160 and the GTX 960. and choose some cheap motherboard

 

STOP!

 

The 4160 is a Haswell Refresh CPU.  I know you are gonna pair it with an H81 motherboard.  This can cause a serious problem for you.  The 4160 should have an H97 motherboard as the bios is already up to specification for that CPU.

 

If you want to get an H81, B85, H87 or Z87 motherboard, use a Haswell CPU for 100% guaranteed compatibility... that is an i3 4130.

 

You can contact the retailer to find out if the bios for an H81 motherboard is updated for the Haswell Refresh CPUs. 

 

If the bios is not updated and you try to put a 4160 in a H81 board, it won't work.  You will have a dead system.  Many have found this out the hard way, don't be one of them.  :)

after a previous topic i posted about intel or amd fx6300 I decided i will go with intel. but i dont know which intel cpus are able to OC. i was thinking of the i3-4330. but 50% of the people on the internet say that it is able to overclock and the other 50% say it is not able to over clock. i would please like some one to tell me which once overclock and which don't and some recommendations. thanks in advance

You cannot overclock an i3 aside from BCLK overclocking which isn't recommended. You can overclock -K SKU i5s.

Always trying to find reason.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

You can overclock most of them from the BCLK but it would ever be so slight most of the time.

You can overclock intel cpus with a K or an X at the end normally.

Well, technically you can overclock all cpus with the bclk. That said, don't do that. If you want to overclock, you need an i5 that ends with a K.

Base clock, plainly it's changing the speed of the motherboard which effects everything and if you mess with it then a lot of things can stop working properly on your system.

Changing Base Clock ISN'T recommended unless you're know what you're doing.

but im no a budget and an i5 is way to expensive. well thanks any ways for advice

Wut? The K version is usually about £5 more expensive than the non-k... the cost difference is in the motherboard, which is a cost that you also have on FX if you want to overclock it without destroying your VRM.

If you're buying an i3 get a 4160, the 4330's price is too close to i5s to be worth it. There is only a small clock difference.

I want the best performance at this price range. So I am willing to buy any CPU that give me more performance for almost the same price

the better thing is to get a 4160, a better gpu and eventually upgrade in the future, partly with the money spared.

You are literally saying that a K edition CPU costs 90% more than the same non-K edition. If that's not what you meant to say, then that's your problem for not wording your post very well.
