why not Mad Catz?

I made a post about gaming mice for big hands and i ended up finding the mad catz mmo 7, and to me its a really nice mouse but the company seem to be hated, why is this?

Their products tend to be of low quality. No other reason to hate a peripheral company.

Most of the material used in them is the same as Lego let's just put it that way. And they have a pretty high fail rate.

I have a RAT 7, and its amazing. The build quality is amazing, and I would buy another RAT in a heartbeat ::shrugs::.

 

Oh, and yes, I have owned 2-3 Razer mice, 3 Logitec gaming mice, and have used countless others. I have no idea what people are talking about when they say they are low quality. 

 

Mine has lasted for...3 years? And nothing is broken, no surfaces have worn off, etc etc.

They tend to be overpriced, and their earlier products had questionable quality (might still be an issue, I haven't really kept up).

.Personally, I don't really have an issue with them.

Well, I've been through many different mad catz controllers for my Xbox 360, as well as some other peripherals I had from them breaking fairly quickly. My RAT7 was a piece of shit out of the box with tracking issues, and for a customisable mouse, everything sure is wobbly and loose once you try to customize the size at all. The only thing I think I had from them that hasn't broken is a steering wheel for the Xbox 360 that I never used.

I personally just dont find them aesthetically pleasing to look at... but that is all personal preference.

personally i think the mmo7 is an amazing looking mouse with a lot of potentially useful features, what would you recommend otherwise, please no mmo style logitech ones where there's like a number pad on the side and no thumb rest thing.
