Bitfenix Prodigy USB not working and adding a GPU?

rirawin

The front USB next to the switch panel doesn't work, can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Also I have z77e-itx board, I want to add a GPU. My power supply is 600 watts however, Do I simply add the GPU in the spare PCI-Slot as seen in my attachment?. I maybe getting a 6970 for free however, I understand it will need additional power but I don't understand besides from plugging it what cables I need to attach it so it work?

You need to plug in the usb header to make the usb work. Also for the GPU you click it into the pcie slot (its pcie not pci (pci is an older standard)) and then from your psu you can look on the box or on the PSU yourself and find the pcie power or 16v lane connector which is a row of 3 by 2 (or 4 by 2) and pplug that into the top of the card

Thanks but the header in the first pic?, the usb on the side should 3.0 not 2.0

Going to dig through the psu for the cable now.

Right, Bitfenix Prodigies have two options for the side USBs namely, USB 3.0 and 2.0. What you'll have to do is look for the USB header on the MoBo as @BuntzenB has stated. If it's USB 3.0, look for a long header that the that long blue 3.0 USB fits into.

For the GPU, you pretty much understand how to do it now so I won't add my two cents on it :D
