Probably not as bad as people will think, Arma also relies quite a bit on the CPU, so you got that goin for ya :D

How well will a Intel HD 4600 Integrated GPU perform on a game like Arma 3? I am going to find out with a i7 4790k.

I'll let you guys know

Won't perform very well, with SLI Titans + 5960X  I get 30-40 FPS, I low.

Honestly, I think it would run well. Everyone acts like arma 3 is so hard to run because of the gpu side of performance for some reason but in reality it's all about having a good cpu, a 4790k will do well. I don't see why you can't run it 1080p medium to high and still get at least 30fps. I can easily run the game at 4k maxed out and get around 70fps last I checked. (in areas not near towns of course) then I get about 30fps just because of cpu bottlenecks.

I heard of these really cool things called graphics displays adapters. I think they go into these slots called pci express or something? I don't know, someone said it's located on the motherboard. anyways they let you play really demanding games on your computer, you might wanna look into them!

 junker build in the making

It's not because your setup isn't good enough. The game runs like shit on all hardware.

You realize you will get more FPS on higher because the game doesn't spread the usage equally.

Yeah, and I'm sure there's ways to optimize it more, too.

Turn objects on low, see what else you can turn up. I feel like you should be doing a little better than that on low. At 1080p my gpu practically idles with it maxed out. I know that hd4600 is a far cry from a 780ti but I remember playing that game on integrated a while back and got around 45fps ish

I run Arma 3 on ultra with my specs and I don't have that problem. I get pretty great fps for an Arma game on my computer, I'll have to check specific numbers when I get home this weekend but I know I don't dip down below 30 hardly ever.
