Fx cpu's are still crap after dx12

Guest Haduvokone

Guys i searched around and most of you already know this probarly but mantle is almost the same as dx12 and look at this video :

This means that fx cpu's will still be crap after dx12 probarly because of thier overall low peformance single core peformance will still be a weak point i think

This threat is not made to make an conflict this is just what i think

and yes the i7 is overclocked more but even if they where the same the results would be quite the same i think

after comments not crap just not as good for gaming as intel sorry!

Trust me, there will be conflict...

Also inaccurate title is inaccurate

I mean, can you really compare these two CPUs? Yes, the FX series is pretty bad, but wouldn't a better match up be an i5?

How are people still not understanding that DX 12 solves ONE problem and ONE problem only : CPU-bottlenecks resulting SOLELY from draw calls.  BF4 isn't a draw call heavy game.

It is there are alot of things on the screen at once it is really intensive for cpu's

4790k is also double the price...

...and the benchmarks are different, for most of it the 4790k is helicopter is hovering and for the 8350 the helicopter is spinning is circle as well as being closer to the ground forcing high quality frames to be rendered.

"A lot of things" does not mean "more than what the CPU can easily do already".  It is not draw call bottlenecked in the first place, so DX12 does nothing for it.  Just like how Mantle didn't do a single thing on AMD's high end CPUs.

it will distrubute the load over more cores so it does do something

You are saying things that are nice but in reality does not do anything.  Look at AMD's own Mantle API which does the same thing DX12 does.  Mantle did NOTHING for the most part for AMD's own high end CPUs.

well it did do somthing on i5's i tried i3's i tried and it did also did quite alot on an old quad core phenom they all got quite a bit more fps and the load was higher on all cores

this.

i have no problem with my cpu being shit compared to intel, but at least dont compare bias tests.

may your framerates be high and your temperatures be low. #pcmr

Calls FX chips shit, expect no conflict.

Lol.

EDIT: I also must say that is a really bias, and overall a horrible benchmark comparison.
