Skype Chat?

No there is not, but to be honest, I would not be interested.

So, guys, let's do this, everyone who's interested can post his Skype's name so I (or someone else) will create a Skype Chat.

i mean skype can give anyone the ip of the one they are chatting with.....

And yeah there's that. Skype still hasn't fix that line of programming. Whenever you're on a call or even connected to skype, your ip's exposed for all to grab.

It's not you, I'm sure you won't do it. But there might be a troll or two that want to mess around with you with your ip like ddosing.

IRC is for text only chat. Maybe a chatbox on the forums like some forums I visit would be nice. I can do IRC as well.

For voice, maybe teamspeak but there's an unofficial one already.

Yes, in fact, I meant a text chat, I thought about a chat here, but the extension to implement in IP Board costs money, an IRC Chat is old, yes, but it's still a real time text chat, which is why I suggested skype.

You can actually use a web browser to access an IRC channel to chat. You don't really need a program to chat on an IRC channel.

It's not, really. Lotta developer and tech enthusiasts still use it, as do many subreddits.

 

OP: is there one? maybe. If not, why not? IP leaks.
