Ok so today I had 4 shut downs that were random.  I checked all of the following:

-drivers are up to date

-temps for cpu do not exceed 54C

-temps on gpu do not exceed past 61C

-No bad crash reports

-games run fine without a problem

-no overclocks done

-3D intensive programs run great

So yea not sure what it can be.....

the crashed happened just with normal browsing :/

is your psu smaller or larger than 500w? have you tried a different psu or checked the windows logs to see what they have to say about things?

With an exact reason but sorry no...

yeah it does

the fact that the PC shut down without used interaction means something went wrong with either the OS or a program

windows event viewer logs all errors and will tell you exactly why it shut down

then you just need to google the error and find a solution

You're CPU could be overheating and shutting down due to a overheating protection on the motherboard. Your thermal paste on the CPU might be completely dry/nonexistent so you may want to change it. If you can, try and get in the BIOS and see the temperatures of your CPU. I experienced this with a dead water cooler last year originally thinking it was the PSU.

if you have a spare HDD around

rebuild the OS into there and see if the system starts crashing when you install the drivers

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Reinstalled the drivers again and I noticed comcast was at fault

any large downloads and their shitty service causes it to stop and then resume at slower speeds which causes it to not install properly, I used a vpn to install the driver normally
