Help me out with my build, and tell me if its priced well.

Case: Corsair 300R = 82$

Power supply: Corsair CX750w = 107$

CPU: Intel I7 4790 = 300$

Mother Board: Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 3 = 184$

Ram: 16GB Hyperx 1600mHz = 143$

Hard drive HDD: 1 TB = 55$

SSD: 128GB = 75$

GPU: Nvidia GTX 970 Asus = 388$

 

Total: 1334$

 

Can you guys help me out and tell me if its a good build and if the price is right. Thanks :)

I would grab a higher quality 500W PSU. You don't need 750W, plus that's a shitty unit. Otherwise looks like a pretty solid build.

if you don't plan on overclocking ( assuming you have a Non K CPU ) is better to have a H97 Motherboard, it is cheaper. Corsair CS series is crappy, get an EVGA SuperNova.

yes very nice build. if i would have to rebuild my pc i would do something like this. you might as well buy the i7 4790k for overclocking and a little better performance.

I suggest getting MSI/Gigabyte for your GPU. ASUS doesnt overclock well. Gigabyte is a bit more expensive but MSI is cheaper but not as high quality although it gets the job done well.

Inless yourgoing sli in the future get a less wattage psu and get a 240 ssd instead of 128 gbs
