Which i5 too buy?

Ok im building a new gaming PC and im putting an msi gaming r9 290 in it. My choices of CPu are the i5 4460 and the i5 4570, both of these fit into my budget perfectly. Which is the better buy :)

CPU-i5 4690k 4.4ghz @ 1.190V, MOBO-MSI z97 gaming 3, Cooler-hyper 212 evo, GPU- r9 290x asus directcuII (-37Mv), Storage-120gb v300(switching soon), 1tb caviar blue, CASE-Red/black h440, PSU-Antec TPC 650.

If you feel like throwing the extra change. The 4570, if you wanna save a few bucks, the 4460. Both are pretty good.

Agreeing with @Tim Drake, don't you think the GTX 970 will be a little overkill for a Dual Core Pentium?

Are you now talking about the CPU? Because Pentiums don't really have 8 cores, and GPU's don't have a term for cores...?

 

EDIT: thought you were talking about a Pentium.

You are just wrong if you think any AMD CPU will get the performance of an Intel on the same price.

Oh btw this i5 is maybe temporary, Im buying a z97 gaminmg 3 board from msi to house the cpu for aesthetic reasons within my builds theme and also to house an m.2 ssd, So i do have the cabability to upgrade to an i5 or i7 from broadwell as and when its needed

One the vishera architecture is not bad. It came out in 2012, and is still doing better than all cpus in its price range.
