I have these

Pentium dual core E5400

Core 2 Duo E7400

Pentium 4 521

Celeron D 2.4Ghz (pinned)

Athlon x2 5xxx(pinned)

If your willing to get rid of them, i would love to have them!

Collecting every single CPU in existence? Is it possible? I have no idea, but i'm sure gonna try! http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/341848-dont-throw-away-old-cpus-im-collecting/

I'd send you my old cpus but I kinda want to keep em now for decoration purposes.

I got a silicon valley lottery winner Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 @2.53Ghz that has been OCed to 4.725Ghz in the past. I can't part with my god chip even if I don't use it anymore lol.

I totally understand that :P and damn.. you really did win the silicon lottery

I used to collect older computers and my wife howled about it. I managed to keep some of my PS/2 line including a model 25 and model 50z with the co-processors. Worst thing was to make her happy out went an Apple Lisa, Apple 2 plus and TRS-80 model 4 with CP/m and even a shrinkwrapped system 7.7 for the Lisa. Also the cpu/mb's from my first builds one a cyrix dx/2 50 and an AMD 5x86 which was a Pentium 60 slayer in its day. In Santa Ana Ca there was this computer store that had on the walls up near the ceiling a collection that was unbeilable. Starting from the Altair 4 every early PC made. If I let go of the PS/2's Ill let you know:)

Update #4

Hey guys, It's been a while since I've done an update! I've recently had to move to the next town over, and ive also had some other IRL stuff getting in the way. But i'm back now and I have exciting news!

The first big, and really late thanks of the day goes out to @Br3tt96. He sent a nice Athlon X2 QL-62 over a few months ago, and I am just now getting this update written. (sorry about that :/ ) Anyway, The envelope wasn't handled very well and it did come kind of beat up, but overall is still in nice condition, and i'm super excited to add it to the collection!

Ok, so the next CPU I got when I was over at a friends house recently and while I was working out in their shop. I noticed an OLD computer in the upper loft. After we were done for the day I asked if I could tear it down, and tear it apart to see what all was inside. To my amazement it was still all there, it was all still intact. This means that I managed to get my hands on a really nice CPU from the machine. I managed to get my hands on a super old Intel Pentium III (not sure if that's actually what its called :P ) I am super excited for this find, and Its cool to be able to finally have my hands on one of these older processors.

And finally, the third CPU I managed to get is an Athlon II. This CPU came out of a rig that my buddy has had for a long time that finally died. He is now looking to get a new computer, so I managed to snatch up his old one.  Not too much to the story of this one, but i'm still excited to see the collection growing!

Very soon I will start to do the final mounting of these processors. I have nameplates ready to go, and I also have all of the other mounting hardware that I will need! More exciting pictures to come!

Now remember! I am still SUPER interested to see what you guys have! I am still collecting, and can use all the help i can get! This all isnt possible without you guys!

I have a G530, which isn't working and a not so good looking celeron 430(I tried to remove the IHS to experiment OCing it). Are they good enough?

P.S: A friend has a computer(not booting) with a K6-||| 266mhz.

I think I have a few CPUs that are most likely dead or too old to function. Need to get back at my parents' place and look for them. Willing to donate them to the cause. Shipping all the way to Oregon shouldn't be more than $15 I think (and hope). Will get in touch when i find the lil' bastards.

Also, I've found really cheap CPUs. I'm talking $1.1 or so. If you're interested and willing to pay for them and shipping I could hook you up
