How will this CPU and GPU run AAA games?

I will get an Intel Core i5-4590 that costs $200 and an MSI R9 280 that costs $190.

 

I'm planning to run games as complex as AAA games on medium settings at 1080p and 60fps.

How will this CPU and GPU run AAA games? Is it overkill, or not enough?
