Will it Case?

Go to solution Solved by SonoDanshi,

I can't help with whether those cards will fit or not, but if you want a GTX 970 and are worried about the card length then you could look at the ITX versions of the 970 from Gigabyte and Asus.

Hi there!

As I am nearing my completion of having a PC all I need is a GPU. I already have the "Basics" of a Computer built. The reason why I didnt grab the GPU while buying my other parts is because I wanted to wait for prices to come down or save enough money, now I have $400.

Would any of these GTX 970's fit my Apex PC-389-C case?

1. MSI GTX 970 OC
2. MSI GTX 970 Gaming
3. Asus Strix

I can only buy a Graphics card and not buy a new case because I don't live in the US and shipping rates are high (Like $25-50).

Motherboard: MSI H81M-E33
Ram: Crucial B. Sport XT 8GB DDR3 1600
PSU: EVGA 500w 80 Plus

Thanks for reading! :)

That's gonna be a hell of a tight fit.

Any performance loss between these card and the longer ones?

I don't mind if I can't OC.

They are fully featured cards running the same memory/core speeds as far as I'm aware. No doubt there will be benchmarks out there somewhere but everything I've heard is that as standard they should perform identically to a full sized card.
