New to PC Gaming - What can I get with $4.5k?

I would go with a single 4K Gsync monitor with 1 additional 1080p monitor cause FPS games on a tripple setup are shit tripple is more for flight sims and race games.

Let's agree to disagree

i would rather get one 2k pc now, and a 2k pc later, when this one is starting to degrade

let me just imagine me with 4,5k  :D

to be serious.... you have to be a bit more precise with your intentions.

triple 1080p or triple 1440p ?

are you going to do some video editing ?

etc...

greets

I'd go with 1080p 144hz monitors over the 1080p ones.

I find it amazing that nobody has thought of m.2 or PCIe SSDs. I mean who would not want to have 2Gigabytes per second read and write?

If you get Titans they will be standard-layout PCBs meaning: Blower style, in combination with a AiO watercooler you can exhaust all your heat out of your case meaning you can build a small but powerful system.

Running dual Titans plus PCIe SSD means that you need some serious amount of PCIe lanes on your CPU. That is something to consider.

In terms of other storage: get a 500 Gb SATA SSD for "slow storage" and then just get a NAS.

In terms of other components: You OWE yourself some bling with that kind of pocket money. Meaning: a bonus features galore (fan controller, fan controlled PSU et cetera).

I mean: of course you can spend all the money in the world and then some in CPU, GPU and other performance critical things. But: think of it as a car: If it has 500 horsepower and costs 100k+ it better be fully equipped.

Hoestly,... with that kind of budget it does not matter what you use the PC for. Simply plug in the best consumer items in you can get your hands on.

You will be able to play every game on max, 60fps, 3x4k monitor and render videos like a Nasa Pc.

Seriously. With that kinda budget you get everything and then some. At least 2k of that will be almost useless, but sound fancy.

No offence. More jealous then anything else. But you really can not go wrong there ;)
