Hi guys!

So I really liked the aesthetics of the Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB and thought how better it'll look like if I had 4 of it, so I bought another RAM kit.

They're both the same model, same size and speed the problem is that the one I already have is the v3.32 and the one I bought from the store is v3.31 and now it wont boot.

It just gives me a CPU Debug light. They work to each of their own by pair but it totally defeats the purpose of buying another one. Did I screw up? They dont accept refunds and returns so I gotta squeeze all my options until I decide to just sell it.

What CPU and motherboard are you running, and what BIOS revision are you running? Different revisions can sometimes help when mixing memory, so doing a BIOS upgrade/downgrade might help.

Another this is how are you pairing the sticks? Are you doing it 1212 or 1122? For mixing memory, doing 1122 is theoretically better as your CPU can train each channel independently and so the hidden subtimings that are figured out in memory training that vary from IC to IC can be specific to the IC of each kit, though I've personally only had that help on Intel systems.

CPU: R7 5700X

Motherboard: MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK

Placement is on 1212. I have yet to try 1122.
