Will a pure rock 2 from be quiet be enough for a 7800x3d

Yes, the 7800X3D is famous for being easy to cool. It can be cooled by almost anything.

Ronothan is correct, as usual. You can use many, many, many coolers to cool that ice cube of a CPU.

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂

That’s really really funny cause I was looking online and couldn’t find any answers. The only thing I would’ve ever see is get a dual tower cooler.

well, with a Peerless Assassin 120 SE being 35 bucks?  There's not much reason to get a weaker cooler.

^^^

upgraded version which is the phantom spirit 120 is usually the same price aswell

just doesnt make sense to get a crappy 4 heatpipe tower unless its a 15$ one, and if you are worried about noise a beefier cooler doesnt need to spin up the fans as much and will in turn be quieter

if you are really that concerned about noise buy a 5 pack of p12 maxes for 36$ and you even get to upgrade your case fans

There's better case fans than the P12 but not for the price of a 5 pack. They're not super high airflow but they're quiet.

i mean 36$ for 5 decently performant fans you can even upgrade your cooler with is a pretty good deal

ofc phanteks t30 is best cause 30mm thickness, dunno why 30mm or 38mm isnt standard considering how much better they are compared to 25mm

doesnt matter that much anyways for case fans
