Gaming in Virtualbox on SLI ? (Win7 inside Mint)

Getting a bit tired of constantly rebooting, so I'm considering moving from dualboot to running Linux full time and Windows7 inside a VM on Linux Mint.

However I'm having doubts.

I've read that the guest OS sees a virtual graphics card rather than the real one, but also that you can assign a (secondary) graphics card to it. I'm not sure if either option will suffice for graphically intensive games.

So is there any way to let the guest OS use the full potential of my SLI 770s ? If not, are there any virtual machines that do have this functionality?
