MSI Z97 Krait.

Any thoughts on this ? Never seen someone use it in a build and i dont even know if there is a better black / black&white MOBO.

its ok

lacks features, its a very barebones board, but looks great

the next white and black boards are the x99 deluxe/pro or the sabertooth mark S, all of which cost over $300

Mine arrived today, installing it tomorrow, I was at a LAN party all the night before, and got home and thought, it can wait a day.

You could always spray paint it, as our lord and savior Linus did

 

Get a board that is primarily black and paint the heatsinks white? Should work out fine, just I wouldnt recommend spraying the ports/slots

I think the lacking features is the name of the game for this mobo, but if you want looks for the best price, this is the best buy (in my honest opinion)

I personally don't own it, I have an ROG one but that board really looks nice actually and it's a bit barebones which some people prefer.

I've got this board in my white/black build, haven't had any issues with it. It's a basic full sized SLI capable board, nothing special. Stable on a 4690k 4.4GHz overclock as well.

I have one. It looks great, and you see a snakey before Windows loads up.
